Richard Dobson was a singer-songwriter from Texas who lived in Switzerland and he also was a friend of mine. He was an outstanding musician and his song writing was second to non. In fact, even Johnny Cash used one of his songs back in the day! Sadly he passed away in late 2017 with the age of 75 years. We sure do miss him. I personally miss his presence every 4th of July at Ruth’s farm in Steckborn, where he would play a few tunes just for the small party that we were.
His music though lives on forever.
I’m very fortunate and honored to have had the opportunity to welcome him in my photo studio, that wonderful afternoon in August 2017. Some of the portraits have now been used for two new records. I’m thrilled that these portraits live on too.
